Thumpertalk compression release hole plug

I cant find the plug that has been for sale on this site before. Now that I have done the cam swap out I'd like to plug off that hole in the head where the compression release is.

Anyone know where I can find that piece?

There was a thread recently about this. From memory the shop has stopped stocking them. Suggest you send a query to the shop and ask.

TT no longer sells them. It has been discussed before, try a search. Some options are try ebay for a plug, cut the stock release off so it doesn't reach the valve bucket or you can buy a plug from anauto parts store, I think grayracer called it a freeze plug or frost plug, I can't remember.

Depending on who you ask, they're called expansion plugs, freeze plugs, or cup plugs. $1.50 at the auto parts store (18mm plug). They're a little tricky to get installed with everything in place, though.
