hello all,
i'm new to TT.
until recently, my dirt riding experience was limited to off-track excursions while racing formula 3 with the AFM. a friend convinced me to try offroad and, of course, i was instantly hooked. at the moment i ride a 2005 honda crf 450r and a 2008 ktm 250sx.
i'm very interested in trials and i'm actively searching for a solid pre '03 bike. however, i'm having a terrible time finding one within a few hours drive from the bay area. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

i look forward to being a part of the community!

I'd call up Adrian or Mandy at Lewisportusa.com.Good people and he probably comes accross more used bikes in Nor cal than anyone. My 2 cents.

thanks for the tips, everyone! adrian and mandy took great care of me. i snatched up that '02 gg 280 they had listed on the site. then they talked me into entering the trials event at hollister tomorrow. having ridden a total of 30 feet on a trials bike to date, it should be interesting! :smirk:

Welcome aboard. My path was much like yours. Got an enduro-style bike and was instantly hooked. Learned about trials and thought it looked cool. Now my enduro bike sits. And sits.
