Looks like I'll get re-assigned from Vegas to the east coast next summer. Got two job prospects, Washington DC or Norfolk. Anybody on the forum from that neck of the woods? Looks like DC is closer to the mountains where I figure the trails are.

There is some good riding here if you know where to look. DC would definitely put you closer to the mountains and the better trails. A plated bike also helps open up more areas to you. There is a decent hare scrambles series in VA and you would be within a few hours drive of several GNCC's. When you get here let me know and we will hook up for a ride. I am way back in the hills and have access to just about any kind of riding you could ask for, all from my backyard.
