Petcock for IMS Tank?

So I understand I'll need an '06 or older petcock to use with an IMS gas tank on my '07. Short of ordering one from the dealer, anyone know where to find one?

get the part number from the yamaha finche and then put in the oem tt site and it should give you a price...one of the lowest you will pay!

I installed the IMS tank on my '07. The stock petcock will work, but will need to be installed backwards, with lever toward engine. This is due to the left hand exit on the OEM unit. Your best option is to order the YZ petcock from the dealer (or aftermarket I presume). The YZ petcock fits perfectly on the IMS tank in the face out position due to it's right hand exit. The only drawback is you will lose the reserve feature. But if you have a natural tank, who needs reserve?

My petcock has been bothering me lately waking me up early. I've been keeping him in the back yard. I suppose i could try fitting him in my tank to keep him quiet:lol: ?
