2007 XR650R/California model and idle mixture screw!

Apparently all the 2007 Model XR650R's are the same, so they all had california emmisions....well i removed all the smog crap but there is one small problem.

The idle mixture screw is almost impossible to turn, because its just a flat circle....i think they made it that way so poeple couldnt **** with it. Ive tried sticking a tiny screw driver in there to adjust it, but i marked up the copper pritty bad.

I recently did a side panel venting job and i wanta adjust the jetting and mixture....

thoughts? ?

A guy on ADVrider just did this- I think he plucked the odd screw out and used a dremel to turn it into a normal screw.
