My right exhaust clearance is between .178mm and .203mm (very, very tight). This is my first re-shim. I pulled the shim pad out and there is no number on it. Or do I need to go buy a micrometer that measures within .001mm accuracy?

Thanks

Yes, you will need to buy a Micrometer. This is very common and it makes this job so fun doesn't it! I ended up buying a whole shim kit to make sure I do not have to buy them one at a time for $7 dollars a peice. Hot cams sells a good kit.

or buy digital calipers, they can be a little cheaper than a micrometer
