Been thinking of a list of some of the more painful chores to do on a bike, or specific to a bike, such as;

Valve spring keepers
disassembly of the dual carbs on a XL600
Tire mounting

please add.....

Oh yeah.

Original, US made TeraFlex in 5.30x18 going on a wheel with two rimlocks...in the winter time. :excuseme: Enough knuckle busting goodness there to make you wanna strangle somebody. :confused:

I personally don't find any of it hard. Some chores just take longer than others.

Well friend, I would have to agree the XL600's carbs are quite a chore...two of 'em with all sorts of bits and pieces. I spent a long time rebuilding mine from the previous owner's neglect :prof: But man, it's worth it because the motor is so much happier afterwards!!!

Replacing handle bars. I always seem to put everything on in the wrong order. It always seems to take me about 5 tries. It also takes me a while to get all the controls back to the right spot.:prof:
