Next time you say your bike setup stinks, your jetting is off, the ergos are bogus, or the suspension is giving you fits, remember the roots of Enduro and the offroad race and watch this again and again and like they say………..you don’t know how lucky you are to have what you have until someone takes it away.

Got to love the lack of helmets, safety, and suspension. Only thing that is there is 101% enthusiasm!

My club is Wayne County M/C in Newark NY. The club started an enduro in 1935. It is the longest consecutive running enduro in the country- Meteor MC started earlier but they had gaps during the Korean war as I understand it.
Charlie( 60 yrs in the club when he died last year) and Fred worked and rode those early enduros and frequently called us ******* because of the great bikes we have nowadays.
they talk about riding to the Jackpine enduro and Ohio events on their Brit scramblers, changing tires, riding the events, changing tires again and riding home all night for work on Monday- on '50's Brit singles and twins!
I understand there was a top end rebuild under a street light at least once on the way home. T hey had a sidecar class for enduros too.:applause:

Your clubs enduro is a great one with great terrain.......just wish you had enough club members to have check ins and check outs. I would work it to help but I already work 2 a year and it cuts into the points thing with those 2.

Pete,
I'm sure you've seen the pictures in Ward Performance of Dan's Dad (Harold) riding his sidecar outfit at the Jack Pine. He was a multiple time Sidecar Class winner at the Jack Pine. Harold also was a Silver medalist at the Berkshire 2 Day Trial.

Yes, I"ve seen the pictures- there's a lot more at the club. Joe, couldn't agree more. We are always looking for more help. We're shooting for a new second loop with new terrain. See what happens.
