I just bought a 2005 YZ450F, upgrade from my 1997 Honda XR440. I always liked Yamaha. Looking forward to ride it this weekend. any helpful hints or tips on this bike?

hang on tight!! :thumbsup:

also keep air filter clean and clean oil and filter in it also. maintenance is essential on these bikes.

o yea and stay off the black stuff...you can watch your tire fade away in a matter of a week.

Your in for a world of change. The 450 is a great bike, but they need TLC often. Keep the oil changed and the filter clean and it will last a long time.
