I am upgrading my cockpit this spring. I plan on purchasing Fastway's F.I.T Version 1 (with the integrated handguard and damper mount) They have an XR 650 specific model that allows the use of 7/8" handlebars. Is there any reason that I cannot get the model for the CR/CRF 125-450 that allows the use of 1 1/8" Fat bars?
Is the top bar clamp completely different and incompatible between an XR and a CR or CRF?
If I am stuck with 7/8" bars, what do you all suggest?

Am I understanding you when you say you want to get the same triple clamp as the CRF? Because the CRF will have a different top triple clamp because it has inverted forks.
