My 2000 WR400 is a bear to start! I bought this thing new
and feel that I have a grasp on the "starting drill" after 2.5 years but for some reason I still have alot of difficulties getting ole blue to fire when she is hot. I've tried everything that I can think of (Dr.D Hotstart, re-jetting, dealer servicing).

Is there possibly something I am overlooking (possibly jetting problem)? I am about ready to throw in the towel and just go by an '03.

Any help for a frustrated lover of blue bikes would be
appreciated.

In an atempt to keep their WR from stalling some peaple turn up the idle. This usally creates hard starting.
Make sure your idle isn't turned up to high.
I don't even need to use my hot start button.
