03 yz450 front wheel assembly problem

ive changed my wheel bearings and im having trouble putting the wheel back on. it seems like theres a space in between the collars and the fork, i have the big collar on the brake side and the small collar on the other side what im i doing wrong

did you press the bearings all the way in? you would have to, to get the seal on.

The larger collar goes on the brake side.

You do know that the wheel with both collars in place is not as wide as the space between the forks, right? Put the axle in and it will make sense.
