look at the cycra tripple clamp mounts....

the red ones look like the tripple clamp holes are counterbored and use cap head screws. that should let the mount be thicker and fit the WR. maybe they won't bend so easy and I can go back to tripple clamp mounting witth my cycra ?

Hard to see in that picture, but it looks like the second and third bikes from the front have the regular WR forks, but the fourth one has SSS. Looking at the cap on the top.

Also, none of them have the speedo cable.

I suppose Cycra is a sponsor. Interesting that they are all triple clamp mounts though. Also interesting that it is a different mount than what we can buy from Cycra.

I bet those triple clamp mounts hold up alot better than the ones on the bars... wonder where I can get a set of those. I'm heading to the Cycra website to look around.

I have a set, they are really nice once you get them on, they are pretty strong, I have run them 2 years basically bending a pair of Pro taper contour bars but the cycra, with a little fixing are good to go, but back to running the EVO bars, some times cheaper aint always better as they say..

The guards and shields are Cycra, but the triple clamp mounts are not. They are Am-Pro mounts, available at http://amproracing.com/Parts.htm.

I've thought about getting a pair, but they are pretty pricey.

I guess they really ARE WR's...I thought they were simply yzf's made to look like WR's (but including the button...remember am-pro yam. has endless resources)....however it says in my new cycle news that they indeed tested and all the riders prefer the WR!! I was surprised.

Right. Those are Cycra's standard triple clamp mounts. Some people (myself included) have had difficulty trying to install these on WRs.

They are also different than what's pictured in the original post, which are the red anodized Am-Pro triple clamp mounts. These may fit better on the Yamahas, which could be one of the reasons why the GNCC team uses them. The clearly visible recessed bolt hole is a nice touch.

I have the Cycra's and at first had the triple clamp mount. The 07 WR is harsh as it is so I took them off and put mounts on the bar with a rubber mounted

handle bar mount and a damper setup. It transfers way less shock to the arms and I've crashed a couple of times and didn't bend the bars. For those with arm issues, the BRP setup works well.
