ALRIGHT im putting some new bars on tonight and really really wanting to ride this weekend cuz the weather is just too nice!!!! Whos down to maybe ride somewhere? Im in High Desert Victorville but maybe we can get something going between me and LA area like a BRP onslaught to Newcombs Ranch or something?? I know Cleonard is Santa Clarita area and SPLOOGE(hillbilly) is IE so whats gonna work and whos down? Big Bear area may work too.

I was going to go to Lucerne/Soggy/Johnson this weekend with a group of guys. I think the planned spot was the rock pile on Bessemer mine road.

don't think that it's going to happen though. My bike is still apart. The ignition coil on the stator fried. I'm going to hopefully rewind it tomorrow and put it back in. However, I've been really sick with the flu since last weekend and now my wife is getting it. If she gets it as bad as I did, I'll be staying home to look after her.

The weather this weekend is looking perfect.

Hey Denn...I'm up for a little ride.

Need something to help boost my spirits. Gave my boss the 2 week notice bit. He hired some person about mid December and I have exhausted all my tolerance of this person and all the crap he's been putting me through. But the Boss seems to reallly like this guy, why is totally beyond me. He's a little punk azz, 21 year old mexican who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. So, basically told the Boss that it's time for me to go. Almost had my year in for a vacation. Wasted all that time and effort in getting to know this that and the other thing. Developing good working relationships with the other co-workers. Was beginning to feel really comfortable there and thinking about staying there for a long term. But, Boss has to go and hire some supposedly illegal immigrant. That itself really sets me off. If this dude wasn't such a pain in the ass to work around, I might have gone along with it.

I am feeling rather depressed right now. Gonna be a long 2 weeks. I should just up and quit, but the Boss man's been pretty decent with me, so I'll stick it out.

A little ride in this wonderful weather would do me alot of good.

PM me back with some details Denn and let's see if we can't hook up for some ridin. It'd be cool just to meet someone from TT.

oh you got that nasty stuff going around yuk i slept on the couch for 3 days when the woman got it and it seems it one of the worst going around in a long time, people are out for like a week with it. Hope everythings well!! If you ever go out past victorville area to Lucerne lemme know cuz youll be driving right thru my hood.

BROTHER i know exactly what your going thru...ive thrown the towel in on my last job and i loved the job just not the supervisor and the weak pay. Worked for GA-ASI as the top engine mechanic for Predator UAVs, ya know the ones the military uses?? Unmaned spy planes!!! 3 years and the manager telling me "your the best mechanic we got" when im sitting at $17.50/hr LMAO i told him it was $24/hour or i was gone to the military base in barstow, federal employee. He laughed and wanted to shake my hand so i said hell no and put my 2 week notice in his hand and started to walk, he says "wait lemme see what i can do" its like a car salesman deal LOL says ill give ya $4/hr raise best i can do....2 week notice in his hand and i was out like Houdinni !

Keep yo chin up and see how it goes. Where are you again ??? Maybe a nice ride in the mountains would work, theres a nice trail up thru the dirt and all from hesperia side of big bear and ends up thru the fire areas in arrowhead area, would like to take a peep as last timei was there was the day the fires started. It was amazing how the houses were packed in the trees and now thats all rubbish. well hook up for sure

CL, thats where My family grew up riding. Really cool place there. We used to camp at the other end of soggy from Bessemer mine road up against the hillside.

I did this ride a few months ago. It was lots of fun, but we didn't make it as far into the mountains as I wanted, it turned to ice. I'd imagine it's still pretty bad up there, if not worse. We ended up down in Lucerne. I'd be willing to try it with you anyway if I didn't have obligations for Saturday...Here are a couple shots I took up there I thought were pretty cool.

Yep, starting to stir around a bit! I drove my truck halfway up the road you're talking about a few weeks ago, should be good riding. Dry at the bottom, a little mud and snow patches further up.

Oh, I was willing to go all the way, but I was with a bunch of guys on 950A's. They were really good riders, but that's a big bike to deal with on ice, yes, ICE, it wasn't snow. Like I said, I'd be up for it if I didn't have to be somewhere Saturday...

that sucks im not sure about what day but either doesnt really matter to me much, get a tally tomorrow to see whos down for which days but prolly SAT sounds best.

You guys have fun! My Saturday function happens to be an imbibing sort of event that may roll into late night, so my whole weekend is out for riding. I'll keep an eye out for any other rides you're thinking about. My buddy and I are thinking about doing the Mojave Road (west to east) at the end of April if anyone wants to PM me for more details. I'll let you get back to finding people for this ride. ?
