Tusk seal saver question

On the 650R when putting on the Tusk seal savers (got the right size, 44-50mm long) do you pull it down and zip tie it where the stock fork boot goes or up higher?
Seems to leave a lot of the upper part of the fork exposed if you pull it all the way down to the OEM zip tie spot.

44-50mm - are those the long ones or short ones? I run the long ones just for a little more fork/ seal protection and zip tie them just below the top ridge on the lower leg.

Yeah I figured it out by looking in peoples garages on here.

I have the long ones.
