I purchased a FMF slip-on for my 06 450F that came off a 07. I was under the impression that the 06 and 07 where the same bike. When I mounted the pipe the silencer bolt hole did not line up which was no problem I just made a bracket but the mid pipe ID is much larger than the head pipe OD. Am I missing some type of gasket to compensate for the almost 2.5mm gap between the mid and head pipe?

The mounting holes should be the same but the diameters headers were different so the midpipe on an 07 slip on will not fit on an 06. FMF slip ons come with a spacers to insert if you have an 06. Call FMF and see if you can get one.
