I got asv both sides but remeber when u order to order 07 yz250f front brake lever. Since some dont have a part number for 08yz450 its the same on brake said as 07 250f. Clutch side is same as 06-08 450

As Matt said, the brake on the '08 is the same as that on an '07 YZ250F. The ASV part number is BLH13 for the C5 series, and BHF313 for the F3 series. The clutch levers are the same as they have been.

Be certain that if the short little push rod that goes to the front master cylinder is removed that it goes back in the right way. The two ends are different, and if reversed, it will cause brake problems.

Call NCY at 1-800-225-1629. They can get you stock, GYT-R, ARC or Asv levers. The GYT-R stuff is pretty good, for 08 they are black, and it only takes them a day or two to get it in if they don't have them.

You may as well spend the money and get one of the pivoting levers from GYT-R(I think ARC makes them), ARC or ASV as they will save you the hassle of a bent/broken lever.

Since I've had ASV's on both my bikes, there have at least 15 levers that my son and I haven't broken, but would have without them. Assuming budget replacements at $15 each, that's over $225 saved, and that many rides that weren't ruined.

I've got a GYT-R brake lever for an 07 YZ450F. Will it fit the 08?
