I have been wearing a cheap pair of fox knee pads and it caught up with me this past weekend. I went down and tore my knee wide open. Can someone help me out on a good pair of knee pads or braces that do not fall down after 20 minutes of riding?

I have just bought a pair of CTI Edge knee braces (Not sure if you can get them in the US??). They are excellant, very comfortable when on the bike and as long as the brace is in contact with your skin and not over your socks or shorts they will stay in place all day.Downside is the price £750/$1160. www.technologyinmotion.co.uk

Are you looking for basic protection or for support of internals? If it is internals, I have had good experience with the CTi2. Very expensive but worth it. Some insurance will cover the cost if you are treating an injury. As far as basic protection I have a set of the oneal knee guards that work well and they sold for about$25 or so a year ago. Good luck.
