spring rate for 225lb

Does anybody know what the spring diameters is for a 225lb rider...bike is 04 450...front and rear?

diameters...I've got a set of mics...just dont know what diameter for my weight.

i think the standard for measurement is the rate.

in which case, RaceTech' website has a formula sheet that gives you everything youll need to know. Then maybe you can call them to get the actual diameter.

The diameter of the spring wire rarely varies with rate, although it can be done that way. More commonly, the winding rate is altered. What you want is the right spring rates for your weight.

Go to Race Tech and click the Spring Rate Search link at the upper left.
