I just got off the phone this morning with the rep from Hot cams.Real nice guy.I was curious if they had some dyno results. He said it produced 2 hp through the midrange more than stock.Thats a lot in my book.Suposedly no loss in reliability and no special tools to time it.It will be about 400$ total to send it here to Hawaii.I think Im gonna give it a try and I ll post my results.

yeah, is that one cam (which one) and if both, does the exhaust come with the autodecomp?
is the gain ONLY in the midrange?
if so, from what rpm to what rpm?
got dyno info?

I had my cams reground by Russ Fletcher at FletchTrick. I had put a pipe and ignition on it first with good results. The cams were ground for midrange. The bike hauls ass. Period. As much gain as the pipe added.

Fletch send them out but he knows the specs. He has tried Hotcams and swears the custom ground ones work much better. His price was $430.00. I think it was worth it. I also had him flow the head.

With the pipe, ignition and cams, my bike rips and is still reliable. Not much more to do but ride the thing.
