Regarding the AIS tube on the front of the cylinder, will it work to block off the AIS by jamming something in the 1/2" rubber tube (like a ball bearing or a chunk of 1/2" aluminum rod). My only concern is that the block off kit uses a hard metal plate. I am not sure if that tube sees high enough pressure to blow the rubber tube off if it is blocked. The rest of the block off devices are just rubber stoppers and I am not worried about those points. I am just wondering about that forward tube/hose deal.

I am basically trying to discreetly block off the AIS.

Thanks

I filled mine up with jb weld. I removed the whole pump assembly and plugged up all the orifices with jb weld. Totally inoperable now, and it looks like it was never touched.

Oh Erick! You should be ashamed of yourself. Breakin the law, Breakin the law.
Guess I'll have to find mine and re-install it. I'd be hella embarrassed if I got denined entry at Hollister.

Yeah guys, I would take this off a PUBLIC FORUM. You know the greenies patrol this place as well as BLM rangers. Might not know who you really are but could others some problems.

:busted: I'm tired of seeing these threads.

Search the CRF 450x forum for the JB weld mod. Perform it, and be done with it.
