'02 - 426 flywheel?

Just spent an hour reading posts on changing the flywheel on the 426 / 450. Still confused.

Just want to confirm - If I go with the GYT-R 9 oz flywheel for my 02 - 426 for better trail performance, it is a direct replacement and will fit under the stock cover. This is a welded unit, just pull off the old flywheel with a puller and install the new. Right??

There is no GYT-R flywheel available for the 426, only for the 450's. Steahly, Zip-Ty, and others make bolt-on weights.

Almost all will fit under the stock cover, unless they specify otherwise.
