I also replace the front shrouds as the old ones just looked ratty. I really dig the new look over the '05 graphics, what do ya think!!

I like it,:busted: just update the airbox and it will look like the 07's, except for the black frame and wheels. lol

I've got the air box graphics with the kit as well, but they don't show it's nomenclature, undecided whether I want that or not? Kit also came with fork graphics and much more. Too many stickers looks ridiculous IMO, trying to decide what else more I want to put on it. Also been looking at getting the wheels anodized, but geez that's pushing it for cost...

I think the new graphics design doesn't look right with the old nameplate. You can either put those over the old or get new stock graphics if you don't like them. Too many is too much. I don't have money for bling, so whatcha see is whatcha get. lol

I think what I will do is tape the air box graphics over the current and take a pic, then compare side by side.
I'm sorta with ya there on the $$ for bling, but it was coming down to spicing this bike up vs buying a new one. I for sure don't have the $$ for a new bike, so I bit the bullet and spent a little on new plastic and graphics.

nothing wrong with that, I will probably do that later on, too. They need a freshening up sometimes, almost like sleeping with a different woman, eh? LOL

"Here honey, wear this wig" hahaha

'08 300XC. Pics taken after the Prairie City Grand Prix out here in Norcal. Sure was fun chasing down 450's on the pavement sections. Rotated the handguard from a minor get-off. I want more torque so I've just installed a FMF Gnarly pipe; we'll see....

That's a cool bike. What kind of seat do you have on it?

Here's a couple action shots from today....
Posted Image
Coming down a pretty gnarly little hill, though you can't tell, and I'm still moving when the shot was taken. I only mention that for the dramatic effect as I was one handed and off the seat.. lol
Posted Image
One of the little canyons, super tight and twisty, mega fun....
Posted Image
Don't ya hate it when the pic does not do the hill justice... this is very steep!! 3rd gear all the way up, dang these pull, had to back off the throttle several times to avoid going over...

Thanks.... Ya I will ride in pretty much any weather as long as I can see. The one thing I don't like about the cold is all the layers, to keep warm.

Fletch - Thanks ! Mostly around Cheswick or south near Summit mountain PA and down towards Brustom Mills WV during the winter. Come March and April the GNCC, and AWRCS races start I try to get to as many as possible. I'd like to try a few OMA events too.

How about you?

That looks like some cool places to ride. I would like to make it out there sometime.

A couple of my pics were at Highland Park in GA. One pic was in a h/s race at Haspin Acres in IN. And the pic where I jumped off of the top of the hill was at an old strip mine in Perry, OH.
