Mississippi Plates...what to do???

I am wondering what all I need to do to get my 2005 WR450 plated in the state of Mississippi. Any MS riders out there knowledgable?

Checked their website but not specific to details. Am considering a job there and do not want to get hosed as I get around a lot on my scooter as of now:ride:

And as you know these are custom street bikes when complete in respective areas

Here ya' go. This is from the MSF, though it looks like Mississippi only requires a brake on one wheel, one mirror, and nothing else . That don't sound right. I still suggest calling them...SC

Cool link, thanks. Let me be specific here for all of those who have not posted. Many states have specific legislation regarding titles and the Manufacturers statement of origin or MSO. I have been told that many states will not title a bike if the MSO states that it is for off road use only. No title no liscence plate. So if you have info on this particular issue I think that os what I would like to know about Mississippi.

Yeah see, that is where the grey are comes in. Says bring the title or MSO but if you read on it calls for odo on back of title...so without a title will the MSO fly in MS? BTW so I don't have to admit this on the other thread... My bike does have and AIS. I was never interested in eliminating the decel pop so left that out of my mods and never really tried to locate it. Did a search and found pics and guess what my bike has one. So if you want mine for something to play with I will trade for whatever it needs to eliminate it. You being the moderator probably already know what that costs for the parts so if this is something you may be interested in PM me and fill me in on details. Otherwise I may just try to plug it up. Would be cool to take it off as I am sure, after a quick look at it, that moving the carb around will become easier.

Well, you can get the Yamaha AIS removal kit or the TT kit (which I have). I can't give you mine because the TT kit is a permanent fix. After looking at the schematics, I think a couple of ball bearings and some JB Weld might be the way to go...SC

Will look into removal and see if its feasable. If I do it will post mine on free to good home page.
