I am new here guys, and I have heard good things about this sight. I am going to throw a question out and see if anyone can help.

Can I put a 450 engine into a 250 frame? The only thing I want to know is, are the engine mounts the same?

Steel frame or aluminum?

The frames are different between the big and little thumpers, whether steel or aluminum. The 450 frame has provisions for extra clearance for the taller engine. I would be very surprised if such swap were possible.

Its an 06 250 and 06 450 engine. The lower mounts are all the same. The upper mounting plates are different but I keep looking at both and they look so close. If anyone finds out let me know.
