I just bought an 07 yz 450 and I am wondering how many miles I can expect to cover with the stock tank (1.85 gal). Thanks for any input. Andy

I got about 40 miles out of a stock tank on mine. I wasn't babying it when we started out because the ride was supposed to be shorter than it ended up being  I was only 3-4 miles from the truck when I ran out.

I did 56 miles on stock 06 tank. Could have gone a little bit farther too.

...and what gear you're in, etc. If you figure that you can get 45 minutes to an hour of fairly hard riding out of a tank, just then take what you expect to be your average speed and work it into that.

Yep, possable, but depends on what type of riding it was under.

I rode a 39 mile loop and got 32 miles into it and got lost. We had no GPS or anything and we ended up going way out the wrong way and when we got back to the truck my uncles WR showed that we did about 62 miles...but after the 32 mile loop, we mainly cruised down dirt roads.
