I bought some used 600 sideplates for my 650l after doing the battery/airbox mod. The problem being they didn't come with the twist locks and the ones off of my stock sideplate seem too short?? Does anyone else have this problem or am I just an idiot??

NO, its because the slot in the airbox is different and it isnt seating

is it different? i always have a hard time getting my sidepanel on and have to mess with it for a while before it finds the sweet spot and goes in. i haven't heard of them being different.

anybody wanna post a pic of their xr600 sidepanel on and off?

just by looking at my 650l i think it's the mount closest to the rear of the bike that is going to be different, but i have no xr600 to compare to:excuseme:
