I reciently purchased a 1997 xr 650l with 1800 miles and found that the upper shock bearing has some play in it. I found that pivot works has lowers but no uppers. Has anybody run into this? The lower felt ok but the upper is for sure worn. I cant find any upper bearing parts on honda fiche. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

You can get the upper from Pivot Works but sometimes it takes some work.

Thanks for the link, I called pivot works and ordered it. It is not listed, so you need to contact them for availability. It cost 39.95!!

You got the whole kit including upper and lower bearings for that price, right? You shouldn't have to pay $40 just for that upper.
