GPS Mounting

Lets see some pictures of how you mount and position your GPS. I just bought a Garmin 60CSX and want to mount it with the best possible protection. I have standard 7/8 Renthal bars. Lets see some pictures! :banghead:

I don't know which mount this guy is using, but it doesn't look good at all. It's shaking like a leaf and he's riding on the road.

That thing does shake. Definetely not a Ram mount.

You can get a Ram mount from e-bay for about $40 del. The quality, ajustability and stability are just outstanding. A U-bolt goes around 7/8 or fatty bars and installs in minutes.

here is mine it works great. i had a high speed get off and the gps never moved! also there is a lot less vibration!

The Touratech is good mount: http://www.cycoactiv...m/gps/tt60.html
Kinda pricey though. Most, including myself. Use the ram mount for the 60csx. Heres a thread that has been going for a while about it:

I have not had any problems with the Ram mount. Hardwiring the unit has worked great as well.:cool:
