My 2 strokes(KTM) are like this... Unscrew the big cap off the top of your carb where the cable attaches to the carb. Slide it out and you'll see a spring and the slide with the needle sticking out the bottom. On my bike there is what's called a cable clamp(?). It is basically a bolt type deal. The needle is under there. Once you remove this(cable is attached to it too) you'll have access to the needle. The needle will now slide out. Note what needle it is, SHould have some markings on it. I would also research and see where the stock clip setting is as well as the stock needle in case somebody has already messed with it. Moving the clip towards the pointy end of the needle makes you RICHER(more gas) and moving it towards the top of the needle leans your mixture.

I'm assuming you have a carburetor that has the crew on cap, if you do not disregard my advice. If you remove the cap you should have the throttle cylinder, needle, and spring come out attached to the cap. If you compress the spring against the cap you will be able to see a little plate at the bottom of the cylinder. Remove it and you should see the needle and its clip. Pull that out and you can put the clip in the desired position. Just reverse the process to put it back together.
