Today I started up my bike for the 2nd time in a little over 3 weeks after a nice crash, and disassembled bike. Had a hanging idle for the first time and for no apparent reason, realized I had pulled my choke a minute or two earlier so I put it in and bike ran fine. Before I fixed the choke problem, I took out my fuel mixture screw to make sure the o-ring didnt get damaged somehow causing an air leak, but when I took it out the screw came shooting out (wasnt thinking and knew it happens because of the spring and also because I put in my Zip Ty). I picked up the screw and noticed only the spring was on it, so I put it back in and started my bike up...ran perfectly, but the screw wiggled a bit. Took the screw back out and still no washer or o-ring. I grabbed something small and skinny and tried to see if I could get it out if it was stuck in there, but got nothing. Put my screw BACK in and tried to wiggle it again, but this time it was a bit more snug and still ran perfectly. My question is, would my bike run differently if the o-ring and washer werent on my screw? I dont know if its stuck up in there or not, and only have one hand so I cant take my bike apart in that much depth. Thanks in advance!

You need to take off the carb or loosen it up so you can make sure it isn't up in there. It will rattle out and it won't be sealed. If it were mine I would remove the carb and check everything out. If it is not in there, order the "O" ring and washer and replace it. Make it right. Hate it if you didn't and something happened over a jump or something like that. Check it out and make it right.
