From Krannie:

According to my Honda friend, there are about 250 new XR650R's left across the USA. About 20 are in crates. He says you should not expect a deal less than $ 5200.00 plus shipping/tariff/tax, as you are a 'high-demand' client, and there is no reason to discount the sale.

Because of the above statement, I was curious of the current number of 2007 XR650R sold vs the 250 XR650R remaining to be sold.

I don't know the number, but I do know one thing for sure. It wasn't enough for Honda to keep making them.

I searched all over new england to find a new XR650R, i found 1 in NJ and 1 in Cape Cod that were on the showroom floor, niether could give me a price under MSRP $6299:foul:

So i bought 1 from my local dealer who always gives me good deals, i got it for $6100 OTD, he said the warehouse he orderd the bike from had only 3 more XR650R's. 1 06, and 2 07's (This was in June 07)...im assuming there is only 1 honda warhouse anywhere close to the northeast...all the 650R's are out west.

Cause your in Nevada, i should have thought about buying a bike from out West, shipping would only have been $500 and i still would have saved a shit load of money.

For 5100 bucks i cant think of any other dirtbike that even comes close to the 650R

Yes they were not very popular here in the north east.. back in '01 they had left overs advertised for $3999 in this area. Now the profit margins back up.

I know of one in southern utah, it's at stephen wade power sports in st. george. they said they would really work with me on the price because they want it gone. But I told them I couldn't buy it. I don't think I will ever be able to afford a brand new bike.
