I wanna say something STF@!......oh SHUSH UP ALL and listen!!!!!

I know alot of times i come off really like an aZZ!! Well no surprise I AM AN AZZ.........BUT theres a kicker to it. I dont ever intentionally talk to people that havent said anything bad to me to start, like saying i dont have a clue what im talking about or name calling, BUT when they do i will let them have it. Im sorry but i am a kind of person that doesnt tolerate this in person and DEFINITELY wont let this happen from someone hiding behind a computer screen. This has got me BANNED for a month and a while back left without any "Gas" as everyone left the negatives. I will leave a pretty sarcasticly smart azz response to a stupid question like "how do i wash my bike??" or "how do you pick up a bike when you fall??" But this has got me nowhere except on the sidelines!! I dont know of anyone else thats been through all the problems ive had on here but thats cuz if they did they got perma banned. I think some of the threads are getting really OOC (out of control) and we gotta remember this is here for us to help each other and not argue or bicker about ones opinion to another. I have done stuff for some people that is prolly considered far and above what anyone would even think of on here, and spent money out of my pocket and my personal time to do this. I dont want anything in return for this as i trully am a person that loves to help when i can. It always leaves me getting used and abused by friends of the family as i go overboard helping with bike repairs and giving some of my own stuff away to help them. I would love to see the people that frequent this forum try there best to get away from the negativity and become a better forum. There are several standout people that do this already on here and i prolly dont need to name them but just a few that stand out are Cleo - Hawk - Martin - Huffa - and alot more that i cant think of names right now. I am by no way an expert as i dont think any are here but i do have alot of experiences and expertice to lend out when i can. Lets clean up the bickering and stupid stuff and get to what this forum is about, helping each other and giving opinions and experiences when asked for.

I will go on record and APPOLOGIZE for my actions that have left anyone mad or pissed at me. I will do my best to not be a smart azz, its hard but try not to read into the text too hard, Youll know when im pissed cuz ill prolly be banned for going off on someone who over stepped my line.

Man i hope i dont get flammed LOL

Who wants to buy something from me through ebay now? LOL

So who needs some gas for giving me gas earlier? Whos Mike he needs some?

Welcome back!

That being said! could you assist me with the following?

When i wash my bike, should i wash it from the top down or bottom up?

Should my bike fall while washing, from which side should i pick it up?

Haa ha Take a deep breath.........And chill

There will always be doff questions and sarcastic remarks.....It's life!

I also have been blessed with a big heart and a short fuse...

By smoking a hellovalot and drinking huge amounts of alcohol i have learned to cope with lifes surprises. (Still working on the road rage thing though)

P.s. Are you aware how much damage guys do to there bikes while washing?

High pressure cleaners on o-ring chains, wheel hubs and neck bearings.

Not to mention holes in seats and stickers kits torn.

Some oke's are just doff/unaware.

Complete RTR OFNA RC 4x4 stadium truck for cheap, inline hockey skates and gloves. I just started selling and ive got the bug to rid all my junk for someone to get, even if it goes for .99 bid.

and maybe my 00 YZ250! i wanna sell it just not sure if it will go for what i want on ebay but SoCal is the area to sell one.

BROTHER you will never get the road rage out of me, i will throw whatever i can if you make me mad enough LOL ive done it before and tried to get people and truckers to pull over.

You can wash alot but its like everything BE CAREFUL with a pressure washer AND do maintenance with your bikes, take em all apart and clean and lube all bearings and bolts to keep em from rusting and freezing up.

DENN, you crack me right the **** up! you really shouldnt have to appologize for doing what you do. that is you. those of us who know you(as well as we can , being on a computer!) understand your "humor"!LOL. some wont like it, looking for ANY reason to flame someone.

DENN also has given some great suspension advise for my particular setup on my "L". he also has gone as far as send me some great engine assy. products, out of his own pocket! when i offered too pay for the product and shipping, he only wanted a hook up at the local brothel! J/K.

all in all, you bring up a good point, get over your own personal issues. come online at this great knowledge base and share/learn something!:banghead:

I guess Im over the noob stage on here now and enjoy this forum very much. On some of the topics that I have been reading there are a few of the regulars that post up here in the XR topics that seem to ALWAYS have some smartazz answer to give in some of the so-called "idiot style" questions. Now fortunate for me I have been wrenching and riding for many, many years so I have dodged (so far) asking any of the so-called stupied questions but many new riders come on here all stoked about their new bikes and ready to become part of this cool forum only to get kicked in the teeth or in this matter their keyboard from some Smartazz that feels the question at hand is not worthy on this board and has to belittle the new guy for his own pleasure.

So you are saying Denn10 that you wont let someone talk to you in person in a bad way and your not going to let them do it on the computer either? Well you need to look at it in the same way!! Now if you met me on the street and I ask you whats the best way to pick up my bike would you REALLY come off as a total smartazz and give me an answer with attitude? So you may want to look at it in the "in the mirror' attitude and realize that some people do not have the great motorcycle knowledge of you and others and when their asking a very simple , sometimes dumb question on here why must people squash their egos with BS answers and run them out of here dragging their tails?

Now I know I will probably not be in the "Cool Club" here at Thumpertalk since Im posting this against one of the well liked regulars of TT but I really could care less! Just remember that there was a time when you did not have all the motorcycle knowledge that you retain now and you were asking the "stupied questions" seeking knowledge!! Also remember that YOU posted this topic up and not everyone is going to look at it in the same way as you do!

A couple of pointers.

Try not to use sarcasm. When you do it in person others can get it from your tone of voice or other non verbal cues. It's just too easy for someone who doens't know you to take it wrong.

Don't feed the trolls. Compared to most places TT is actually rather troll free. Some people just live for conflict. I just don't participate. By responding in kind, all you accomplish is dragging yourself down the their level. However, sometimes I can't even follow my own advice. Some people are just plain idiots. You can try to enlighten them, but it doesn't always work.

I started posting mostly for two reasons. The first was to get some practice writing. The second was to learn something. There is no surer way to find out what you don't know than to open your mouth.

You might want to give Team TT a try. For a few bucks you can post in a forum where most have a really thick skin and you don't have to edit your posts(like AZZ).

Be extra careful when posting after a few, or more than a few, brewskies.

Being an overall motorcycle enthusiast, I bought a Harley last June to use for pleasure rides and commute to work in the summertime. Thus I joined a HD forum, to learn about the HD's - trick setups etc - like we do here. All was fine, I was posting and recieving nice kind replies, until, I replied to a thread on novelty helmets and posted my disagreement on them. It became a furrball with it finally getting into individual credibility, as it had enetered into patriotism, miltary service etc. One of the posters went as far as to check my profile and do an internet web search engine on my real name to verify IF I had indeed served as I had said and where I had said. (Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom) as I had served 30 years in the US Navy. That did it for me on the HD forum, I left and will never return, there are indeed some weird lurkers out there that will contest everything you say. I felt I did not have to send him a copy of my service record, as I know in my heart where I have been and what I have done. I don't stereotype all HD riders as this one was a serious oddball, but his questioning of my patriotism and service was surely enough to make me leave that forum permenantly. I bought and ride a Harley because I like the sound (stock no loud pipes) and the old school look and it is comfy on a long commute and it is fun to ride (2007 Harley Dyna Super Glide Custom - no bags and windshield and crap- just bike).

So the moral to my story is; Denn no worries, bee yourself.

I don't think that posting frequently has any correlation with popularity. In fact in most cases I find it has the exact opposite effect.
