Starting in winter.

It`s off- season around here at the moment and my bike is so to say winterized. But is it a good idea to start it up every couple of days and warm it up and get the oil back into top end? I have heard that doing this might suck more moisture into engine and by the spring engine might be even in poorer shape then if it was just left alone.

What do you think?

Unless the engine reaches full operating temperatures and stays there for at least 10 minutes, then yes, I'd say it's better just to leave it sit than run it for a short time and shut it down again.
