I have a YZ426f clarke tank it has its own gas cap, looks like when you try to secure it it turs a coupe times feels secure but i can see the tank has a couple more turns .. Is this normal for the gas cap to have a small gap? I ll post some pics soon.

if you have the standard clarke cap, be wont last long. id recommend a billet cap.

Second that. I went through 3 caps (all warranted by Clarke) before going to the billet cap. Well worth the dough.

Yes it is normal. The Clarke cap has worked fine for me over 3 years :banghead:

The Clarke caps suck, mine cracked on the first ride. I bought a billet Tusk cap for my Clarke tank from Rocky Mountain.

My wife has a Clarke tank too and it cracked about the same time mine did.
