Stupid PIG!

Recommended Posts

Today was going so well....

Some punk on a banshee thought he could hang with the xrr... home boy got dropped! :D Long Island is the land of quads... I love smokin um!!

Then while exploring a new riding spot I fell over in the deep sand going 2mph....ok not a problem.

While picking the bike up I was thinking "stupid pig, why can you have handles so your easier to pick up?" Then I heard the pop in my lower back.

Good thing I was alone in the woods trying to pick up a 300+ lbs bike after i heard a nice pop in my back and my legs gave out :banghead:

It took a wile to get this thing up...and the ride home was painfull :busted:

I hope didn't blow my back out..... stupid pig

I now put my back to the gas tank, squat, grab the handlebar and bottom edge of seat. Then use my legs to lift and back to stabilize the bike. Tore my right bicep once by pulling the XR up with one arm. Then I continued riding. Now my right bicep has this great peaked look and my left looks a little flat in comparison. lol

In the old days (1972) my dualsport choice was the CL450 (Trench digger) it weighed about the same as the CCs, never lacking for speed but handling required serious manhandling even with huge Barum knobbies, but the beast had 68000 miles when I sold it and never let me down, one of the toughest engines I've had of the 37 bikes I've owned. Picking it up was a real pain in the back!:banghead:CL4501.jpg

We had a whole gang (10 of us) that rode CB/CL/SL 350s when I was 15 and16, we all moved up together from Trail 70s to 175s then 350s we lived on those bikes night and day, street and trail, timing chain finally failed on my 68 CL with 38000 hard miles. Fixed in in 1 day and back to terrorizing the Town. I'm still amazed how much torchure we put them thru and still made it home.

I picked up a cherry looking '68 CL90 last year for $300. It was burning a bunch of oil so i bought an over sized piston and brought it to the machine shop to have it bored out. Well it turns out that the previous owner already had it bored out, but put a standard size piston back in. :busted: So i slapped my new, correct size piston and shes been running like a top ever since. :banghead: I've done multiple 100+ mile rides on it.

Sorry to hear about your bike. Just a moment ago mine twinged. Nothing worse than lower lumbar issues, well, I should not say that. Get some ice on that baby. My experience with back issues is the day after is worse than the day of. Ice and heat, but mostly ice.

Good luck, glad you at least ripped up the four wheeler. :D

Thanks! It's actually feeling better already. I am 99.999% sure its all muscular which is good.... should heal quickly. It was the "pop" that bugged me out....thought i ruptured a disc or something.... but all signs point to muscular :banghead: Time to start working out and building some muscle.

Thats freakin nuts! Its amazing how clueless some people can be :D .....thats real good for you though :busted:
