Where there titanium valves in the 2000 WR? I thought I read it somewhere. If so, has anyone retro'd them into a '98 WR? Is it worth doing?

Don't think so.

Both the YZ and WR got Ti valves for the first time in ’01. Apparently you cannot swap them in older heads unless you replace the guides and springs. The lighter valves require lighter springs and the Ti necessitates a different valve guide design or material.
