Cleaning the oil strainer

I am in the process of cleaning the oil strainer, What do you actually use to clean it ? I was going to use petrol ? & then blow it dry with a compresser ?

That should work. You just need to get the crud off. Just the compressed air might be enough.

any kind of solvent and air will do the job fine your all over it baby

i like brake cleaner and air.
