a few days ago i saw a yz400f that appeared to have a light kit, mirrors and turn signals. it also had MA tags on it. it appeared to be a yz400f judging by the tank size, however it may have been a wr400. is the wr version legal in MA? would it be possible to get a yzf plated here?

Im new to this forum, I have a 2 stroke rm 125 and after riding in the street a few times with my friends, I decided to maybe finance a brand new 2011 rmz450 or rmz250. I live in miami and I was wondering, can a 2011 rmz450 or 250 be made street legal in florida or more importantly...in miami?

I'm having trouble finding a good dual purpose 250-300cc 2 stroke on a $2000 budget so i've been looking into conversion options.

I've found in my area that things like passanger footpegs and seating, while required by law, are only enforced if you are carrying a passanger, not at plate inspection. And turn signals, if you know the correct hand signals, aren't always enforced either. Just depends on the state and how that officer feels that day. It's the govt., anticipate a little inconsistency, lazy mindedness and ignorance. In other words, know your stuff better than they do before going in.
