Anybody have a xr650L with preprinted backgrounds on the number plates ? I see Factory Backing offers backgrounds for the L. The L has a pretty sharp curve on the side panels, can these be installed without wrinkles ? Before I spend $60.00 I want to make sure they dont look like crap ! Photos anyone ?

My wife does accounting for a sign shop, I've seen them wrap vinyl around some crazy shapes, I think It's all in the patience of the installer.

The exhaust side seems tough on most bikes- if you watch this video, it should make it easier the first time. I wish I would have watched this video the first time I ever tried applying number plate backgrounds. The Hair dryer is the ticket...Good luck! :banghead:
