The wife informs me that we have to take the van up from SoCal for Xmas since we are delivering some old patio furniture to the inlaws.

That means I get to bring my dirt bike and my mountain bike. It's been years and years and years since I've ridden in the Northwest.

I'll be in Sumner...where should I go to find singletrack in late December?

Cap. Forest? Drive all the way to Walker Valley?

I want to ride nasty tough stuff. No Forest Service roads.

I'd also appreciate it if any local mountain bikers could give me a lat. long. on a good mtb. loop in the Sumner area.

It's a lot to ask but I figured you guys would be a good place to start.

I'll return the favor. If you ever find yourself in the SoCal area with your bikes, I'll meet you in the desert and give you access to the goods!

Wow, I guess I should have read this forum for a bit before I posted. It sounds like your riding areas up there got hammered in the last storm.

I didn't mean to come across obtuse to what's going on up there guys, sorry about that.

Nonetheless, I still bring my mtb.

If anyone can give me a lat long or directions to a trail network in the Sumner area, I'd appreciate it.

Bring your dirt bike, there's still some stuff to be had. This happens every year we have good people with good saws.

If you're serious about riding the gnarly single track, PM me and be sure to gear down a few teeth.
