The 2008 Desert 100 - April, 5th & 6th, Odessa, WA. I hope the Spark Plug Enduro does not conflict! That is a must do!

Since March is a 5 weekend month in 08 and Easter falling on March 23 hopefully the SparkPlug will end up running on Sunday March 30th.

I've heard some tentative dates for:

Dirty Face Dual Sport June 15th
Shelton Dual Sport June 29th

Sounds like there are some good events in Oregon as well:

I sure hope so, but usually the DNR does not permit motorcycle events until after Apr 1.

I truly enjoy both the Dez 100 and the Sparkplug and want to do both in 2008. Keep my fingers crossed...

NOT GOOD NEWS!
Just heard that the Spark Plug is being scheduled for the 6th of April if allowed to by DNR (due to the storm damage). Plead for a change!

I do know that the Dez 100 dates are set in stone, primarily because of the landowner's requirements to move his livestock around....... the race chairman was originally trying for the 12th and 13th but....:excuseme: No one wants date conflicts:cry:

On another note....Word is the Frostbite long course racers will actually get a REAL long course :busted:

So are they looking at separate races at the FB?

Good thing I'm getting my Reiter head on! I forgot what it was like to ride 11 miles in 4 hours! And how tiring it can be!  Reiter is an expensive place for me to ride on a regular basis! My right radiator now looks like a C, thanks to Scone's bushwacking side trip! But it was fun!

Still hope they can get the Spark Plug on a non conflicting date!

Probably won't happen. Date changes with the DNR can be a pain, too, especially at the well-used Tahuya area.

Oh well, I think it will be the Dez 100 for me, if I can get the extra 2 days off needed for travel, or the Sparkplug if I have to work Fri & Mon.
