I would like to head up Sunday. Does anyone know how much snow is up there?

Not really a good idea to go out without power to both axles. We had 4X4 trucks so we comfortable squirreling along Meadowlake Road from Carlton  but some 2x4 trucks had to pull over west of McGuire Reservoir. Hey Jesse!:p

At the highest elevation I was at, there was old snow from last weekend with new snow form this week piled on it. I was not breaking through to the old snow because of the layer of ice between the two.

It snowed on us all morning, which was cool, but going was slow. New snow was only about 2" deep...no prob there, but it was on top of frozen gravel so the roads connecting the trails were treacherous. Almost went down on the roads but not the trails. Trails were nice and traction was pretty decent considering the weather.:blah: :blah:

Maybe I had such a good time because I installed the RED PV spring.:busted:

I had on one of those Thai S12's so traction was good like Pam on Teflon. (The cooking spray...). I fell down alot and the back end kept passing the front.
Considering the ground isn't frozen yet and all the rain there could be many trees down. It's been going on for quite a while now, but doesn't seem all that intense here in Tualatin.

it seems warm, so it could be melted enough to get a good ride in mid-week.

I drove down to diamond mill. The lower trails were clear but I am sure there was snow up high. I just wanted to test some suspension changes so I did a quick ride. It was really wet out! I don't know where that wind storm they were talking about was?

It looked like there was a few inches at browns camp.

The National Weather Service forecast page shows rain today and all week (even at night) in the coast range at all elevations below 2200 feet.

Should be interesting getting the run-off from the rain and the snow the rain will melt.

Bet the salmon start running up the Nestucca.
