I'll take a rear gone south any day; they're not that tough to deal w/ really. The hardest part in that vid IMO was when it first went south, nevertheless, you'd be surprised how much control you still have w/ a flat rear. He did exactly what he should have - gone as straight @ the gravel as possible and let it do it's job. He knew good and well that grabbing the front would have resulted in nothing but pain.
