I have a 2001 yz426 and it leaking a small amount of coolent from the water pump weep hole on the bottom. What is the cause / fix for this problem? Also the water seems rusty.

You need to replace water pump seals, you may also need a new shaft and bearings

Time to replace the waterpump seals, bearings and shaft. Make sure to replace all the parts, or chances are it will leak. The seals actually cuts into the shaft causing the leak, most people just replace the seal and it still leaks.
