My White Bros XCR muffler just arrived and yes it's long. My concern is that the instructions say it does not use a gasket or clamp where it joins the headpipe. It is a "slip fit". There is about an eight inch or more of gap between the two pipes. It's very loose. Does anyone have any experience with this? This has to leak exhaust......any ideas???

I have this exhaust on my, and just go ahead as instructed. I have about the same distance between the edge of the XCR slip on and the header pipe lip thingy. It works just fine, and I don't feel or notice any exhaust coming out at this junction.

I have the same set-up. The joint looks loose, but it works just fine.
