Just got UFO front disk guards for my 04 650L($27.00). They were cataloged under ufo part#12-386-22. They are sold as 85-89 600R guards. The only mod was to tap the 650l axle with a 5/8-16 tap. I should have found the metric size, but have stockpiles of standard. I also have frame guards on back order for this 04'(89 parts). I measured up my R parts, and they seem to fit one side. Up to 89's have drum brakes, newer machines have disk. Don't know if the caliper side will work or not, but will find out. I also used my CR500R rear brake guard on the L, bolted right up. Let ya know what else fits, and post. Posted ImagePosted Image The CR front rims are fitting also with the correct spacers-still look inat the bearing swap for the back!

There is a guy on Epay selling the disc/fork guard you may want. Check it out. The pic he has in listing isnt actual part, just for reference.

Other parts that have fit on the 650L to date....
1. Front and rear(depending on disk rear) rims from Xr600's
2. 87'CR500 front rim with matching spacers
3. 87' front disk guard(not my preference) only zip tied on cr
4. 89'-91' ufo front disk/fork protectors(have to tap your front shaft)
5. Skid plates from a lot of years XR600R
6. Rear aluminum caliper guard from 87' CR500
7. Speedo off XR600R
8. Waiting on frame guards for 89'-91' XR600R (one side fits)

Trying this winter
1. Cr500r front end
2. Cr500r rear swing arm assembly( to fit 89 xr600r also-major upgrade if works)
3. Rear CR rims with smaller inner race's on bearings for XR650L swingarm
4. 89'XR600R ricky stator(just curious-backup)
5. XR600R exhaust
6. XR600R silencer
7. Xr600R seat
8. Frameguard problem

There are many plastic and cable swaps-use your imagination and reference books.
Many handlebar and riser swaps-7/8's is 7/8's, 1 1/8....etc
Hope this helps----winter is here
