YZ426 Airbox Mod?!??

hey guys what is the airbox mod you can do to YZ426's? And what will i gain if i do it...any other cheap mods i can do? i alreay have a auto cam and a pipe but still looking for more power i guess lol...thanks

Any mods on the YZ426 airbox aren't going to you get much of an increase in power (if any at all), and likely sacrifice its ability to keep water out of the engine.

I afraid you're out of luck as far as cheap mods go.

The "big" airbox mod was for the WR 426, not the YZ. The only thing I've ever done to pre'03 YZF air boxes take the top overhang off to make the filter easier to access. There's no performance gain in it.
