Paul at www.motomasterusa.com hooked me up with a set of 17" wheels for my WR400.  They go straight on, no modifications necessary and they are laced up true as can be.  Also, I was cleaning them up after mounting and noticed that stamped into the rim next to the size was the letters "DOT" so they're street legal which is nice in case I ever get pulled over by a cop that feels like hassling me.  This deal was as easy as can be, MotoMaster had the wheels in stock, I didn't have to wait for them to be built or shipped from somewhere far away or anything.

Greg,

I looked into it a bit further and found out that they're Avon Distanzia's.
How do they perform?
Have you gone offroad with them?

Mike.   :)

I just got them yesterday and went on a short ride.  I don't plan on riding offroad with them, it only takes a few minutes to swap wheels with my stockers that have knobbies mounted.  :)

Greg,
Does your bike have blinkers? if so on the headlight I want them were did you get them also on the back where are your blinkers located? Also for any one who knows how about posting some pics of headers looking for a good header for my r4 pipe...

Those orange lens' on the headlight assy are the blinkers, they're built into the unit.  It's called the "Oregon Enduro" headlight by UFO.  It's shown on the Baja Designs website or in the White Bros catalog.  The rear signals are just small flush mounts made by Lockhart Phillips and available at most big bike shops.

MotoGreg,
A couple more questions about the Oregon Enduro Headlight Assy:
The connector for the headlight, is it a H4 connector?  (3 prongs in a square formation)
Is it bright?  In other words, could you use it at night?  Do you know the wattage of the Hi/Low Beams?
Are there any plastic bits behind the shroud where one could mount other things like a horn and a signal flasher.

Sorry about all the Q's.  I just was interested in this light but could never get the info.

Thanks!

I have a few images of this headlight at the listed web site.

Yes there is room to mount a few things behind it, I have a relay for the electrical system, a flasher relay, and the horn all attached to a section of aluminum bar.
I am waiting for the paper work to go through to get a plate for the bike.<P>Posted Image

Greg bike looks great, do you do much street riding with it?

There is plenty of room behind the light, I have my flasher relay there and a horn would easily fit as well.  It does not use a H4 bulb but I wish it did.  It uses some weird bulb that you can order through the Parts Unlimited catalog but that's about it, it's not available at Pep Boys or anything like that.  The bulb comes in different wattages but I'm just using a 35w/35w because I just have the stock WR lighting coil, it hasn't been rewound for more output.

I'm leaving first thing tomorrow (Friday) morning for the World Superbike races in Laguna Seca and I'm taking this bike.  Paul from MotoMaster said he knows of a dozen or so other supermotard bikes going up there.  :)

Thanks for all the nice comments about the bike!  :D
