What is the diffrence, if any, between an 06 YZ450f motorcycle engine and an 06 YZ450f quad engine.

To start with, the crankcases, and all of the hard points for mounting the engine are entirely different.

Internally, the quad engine has more in common with '03-'06 WR engines. Cams and other top end parts can interchange between yours and the above listed WR's, and from '03-'05 YZ450's.
